The Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law (CertHE Common Law) is equivalent to the first year of the LL.B Hon s. It was designed by the University of London for those who do not have A Levels but can demonstrate that they have the academic ability and motivation to complete a University level degree.
Academic qualification: Five O Levels with minimum four C in four papers or SSC and HSC (with one first division and one second division under old system) or minimum total GPA-5 (minimum 2 SSC and 2 HSC each + 1 under new system). Additionally, the applicant may be required to appear for a written examination in English and subsequently for a viva voce examination, if the Academy deems it necessary.
